fourth of july

Fourth of July: that time of year when we get to enjoy the sun, take the day off and spring into celebration... but there is more to it than that.

It can be easy to let the fireworks and celebration get all our attention, but we should not forget the essence of this day. At Acxess Spring, we want to take the time to recognize and acknowledge what Independence Day is about. It is about recognizing the blessing of freedom, the responsibility that comes along with it, and the hard work it took to obtain it.
Independence day is about being part of something bigger. It is about shaping a nation with more than self-interest in mind. Our country was built on that; on the idea that unity and hard work builds communities, builds businesses, builds nations, builds dreams.
We make every one of our springs with the same idea in mind. From the person that takes the order, to the one that creates the spring, to the one that inspects it for quality control, and finally who packages and ships the order out. All of them, each and every single one, is a part of the spring our customers receive. Each spring, in turn, is a part of a device, product or machinery, and all of this is part of something big. Something bigger than you and me, something bigger than a business and a company, something bigger than one person’s dream. We are proud to make a small contribution to the success of another manufacturer, to be a small piece of a larger product. We are proud to be a part of it all.
Yes, a spring can be seen as just a coiled wire, a tiny piece of metal. However, with the right shape and knowledge, and a lot of hard work, a team can turn it into the missing component that makes something function.
Remember, even small springs, I mean things, make a big impact. Every tiny thing is part of something big. So, what are YOU a part of?
This Independence day, reflect on your actions. Don't just settle for celebration, be part of the courage it took to get to where we are today. Commit to being part of something good, something great, something big, something better. Because true freedom is not the right to do what you want, but the opportunity to do what is right.
