When a pandemic hits all industries are affected. Usually the least essential the industry the harder it takes a toll. We know how hard these times are for many and so, as the situation has progressed we have tried to remain proactive about our way of navigating these circumstances. One thing is for sure, we could not cross our hands in the face of adversity.
We quickly decided to spring into action and start making decisions to move our team, our customers, and our community forward. 5 Ways Acxess Spring is Showing Solidarity During This 2020 Pandemic
1. Reducing prices of over 23,000 part numbers.
As many of you know, TheSpringStore.com is the division of Acxess Spring that focuses on selling and manufacturing stock springs that are readily available for our customers. At the end of last year (December 2019), we had an amazing sale where we discounted a good amount of stock part numbers placing them at the lowest price we could. This sale was a success and many of our customers asked that we keep it going for longer. At the beginning of this year, we decided to celebrate a new decade by adding even more part numbers to that discounted price list so we ended up having over 16,000 part numbers that were at the lowest price ever. Then news of COVID-19 started getting worse and the quarantine came into effect. We realized a lot of our customers and local businesses were suffering so we decided to go even further and do everything we could to discount even more of the stock part numbers in our stock spring site. We are happy to have benefitted over 220 customers just last month with these discounts.
2. Providing an additional 5% discount to NY and NJ
A month and a half ago when the whole pandemic started to make further progress in our country it was evident that the two most affected states were New York and New Jersey. Our springs are used in all sorts of devices and machinery, many of which are from the medical industry. We knew we had to do something to assist and decided that those states could use the extra help and therefore provided an additional 5% off on top of the discounted pricing to any order that was from or delivered to New York and New Jersey. Our customers in those states where able to take advantage of this special discount and saved a significant amount, especially on orders over $500 dollars.
3. Extending the discount to the most affected states.
After realizing how many customers were able to benefit from the discount in New York and New Jersey we realized that we needed to extend our help to our fellow sister states that were suffering the most. After much consideration, we realized that the top five most affected states could greatly benefit from the additional discount and decided to extend this offer to the other 3 next most affected states. We have been serving New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, Pennsylvania with additional 5% discounts on their order total.
4. Offering free engineering solutions for custom springs.
At Acxess Spring we understand and value the hard work of businesses that are seeking to create solutions. We also know how hard it can be to launch new products in these uncertain times but we want to encourage you to continue working on your projects.
