However, not all compression springs are made equal. All custom springs must abide standard industry tolerances, but some need to be even more specialized than that.

At Acxess Spring we manufacture custom coil springs for all types of needs, and although all our custom springs are created with much precision, in some cases more extreme and precise demands are made. In order to meet those more demanding requests we work with additional precision and charge a reasonable premium fee.
Precision springs are manufactured under tight tolerances in order to obtain a more exact spring design when it comes to its physical dimensions and force. Compression precision springs are manufactured with even more detail and care in order to ensure they meet the necessary tight tolerances. These type of springs are an ideal component to many buttons, valves, and other devices where a resilient and specific bounce-back motion is needed. Especially, those where the motion or load to carry needs to be very precise.
Manufacturing very precise compression precision is incredibly time consuming and demanding. All our compression springs are created with the utmost posible presión and adhere to the industry standard tolerances. However, adjusting to tighter tolerances requires a great deal of engineering and testing, as well as more prolonged set ups and a more exhaustive quality control process. This all requires that, as spring manufacturers, we dedicate more time and resources to these type of springs. Therefore, not all spring companies offer this type of precision compression springs.

However, not all precision springs are manufacturable and therefore, the request for quote needs to be submitted and verified by one of our engineers. This allows us to review and confirm whether the tolerances that you request are able to be met. In many cases, if we cannot meet those specific tolerances, we can redesign, adjust or come to an agreement regarding the adjustments we can make in order for the precision compression spring to work adequately for your device.
